The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Public Works Department, led by Arch. Ana María Cuevas Moreno, in coordination with the Government of the State of Oaxaca, through the General Directorate of the Integralmente Planeado Huatulco Center, has begun work on the installation of a new sanitary drainage line in the northern area of Sector H3, via the access road to the municipal landfill. The project includes approximately 700 meters of piping of different diameters.
This infrastructure will allow wastewater from the Náuticos, ADESICO, and part of Villas Doradas subdivisions to be directed to the drainage system operated by CIP Huatulco for proper treatment, eliminating a source of contamination that currently poses a risk to the environment and public health.
Due to the execution of this work, the main access to the municipal landfill will remain temporarily closed. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of the public, as these actions will contribute to strengthening sanitary infrastructure and improving environmental conditions in our municipality.
