The Government of the State of Oaxaca, led by Eng. Salomón Jara Cruz, and the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, joined forces to reactivate the local agricultural sector, supporting producers with concrete actions.
During a meeting with the Undersecretary of Agribusiness of the Secretariat of Agri-food Promotion and Rural Development Oaxaca (SEFADER), Eng. Mario Robles González, the immediate disbursement of microcredits of up to 300 thousand pesos was agreed upon, without the need for collateral or guarantees, trusting in the responsibility of the people from the countryside.
Simultaneously, a census was conducted in Bajos de Coyula to identify those who will be able to access these supports, which will be delivered as each productive process advances and can be paid back once sales begin.
With these actions, progress is being made towards a stronger, fairer, and more productive agricultural sector in Santa María Huatulco.
