The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, carried out a cleaning day at Tangolunda Beach, with the aim of guaranteeing safe and functional spaces for users, service providers, and visitors, as well as improving the urban image of the pier through cleaning, order, and maintenance actions.
During this activity, solid waste was removed from the beach, adjacent areas, and areas surrounding the pier, achieving the collection of 31.800 kilograms of waste, including organic and inorganic, with the participation of ZOFEMAT personnel, street vendors, oyster sellers, and service providers, strengthening coordinated work and the care of the coastal environment.
