IMMUJER and Punto Violeta Bring “Sex-Gender System” Talk to COBAO 22

IMMUJER and Punto Violeta delivered a talk on the “Sex-Gender System” to COBAO 22 Huatulco students, analyzing social constructs and promoting equality.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Institute for Women (IMMUJER) and in coordination with Punto Violeta, conducted a talk for students of COBAO Plantel 22 Huatulco titled “Sex-Gender System.”

The objective was to question, analyze, and reflect on social and cultural constructions based on biological characteristics between men and women, which reproduce power relations, inequalities, and violence.

These types of activities promote clear information, informed dialogue, and tools for prevention, respect, and substantive equality inside and outside the classroom.
