Air Canada launches its winter season in Huatulco with 177 passengers and projects bringing more than 11,000 visitors.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco took part in welcoming the first Air Canada Vacations flight from Vancouver, Canada. The flight arrived on October 30 with a full load of 177 passengers, marking the start of the 2026–2027 winter tourist season.

This season includes three weekly flights from Vancouver and Toronto, with 67 air operations scheduled and a projected 11,280 passengers through April 2027.

With an estimated average daily spend of $135 per Canadian tourist, this air connection represents an important opportunity to boost economic activity at hotels, restaurants, businesses, and tourism service providers.

The Municipal Government, led by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, continues to join efforts to strengthen tourism and create greater economic opportunities for Huatulco families.

More connections, more tourism, and more opportunities for Huatulco!
