Today, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Traffic Police, launched information and awareness points aimed at motorcyclists in the municipality.
This awareness campaign aims to:
- Comply with traffic and road regulations.
- Ensure their vehicle documentation is in order.
- Respect speed limits.
- Always wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle.
The Municipal Government invites citizens to join this campaign.
Wearing a safety helmet can reduce the risk of death by more than 40% and the severity of head injuries by up to 70%.
