The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Ing. Julio Cárdenas, officially installed the first Municipal Tourism Advisory Council, an unprecedented event that reinforces the municipality's leadership as a first-class tourist destination.
This initiative arises from the municipal council with the support of state and federal authorities, aligning with current regulations. The most relevant aspect is the participation of key actors in the sector: hoteliers, restaurateurs, travel agencies, tourism service providers, and organized civil society.
In addition, this collegiate body is multidisciplinary and inclusive, since it integrates all sectors and the population represented in the secretariats in an orderly manner. A legacy for the destination, which will guarantee active participation and a comprehensive vision to strengthen Huatulco as the best tourist destination.
