From October 6 to 9, an inspection under the NMX-AA-120-SCFI-2016 standard was conducted for the 2026 Sustainable Clean Beach and Platinum Beach classifications at Chahué, Órgano, La Entrega, and Violín beaches.
During the audit, physical inspections, document reviews, and interviews were conducted to assess compliance with criteria for cleanliness, safety, infrastructure, environmental quality, and conservation of coastal areas.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, reaffirms its commitment to continuing coordinated work with authorities, concession holders, and service providers to strengthen the care and sustainable management of its beaches, for the benefit of residents and visitors to this tourist destination.
