With the aim of strengthening tourism as a key driver of local development, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, led an important working session with members of the Municipal Tourism Advisory Council.
During this day, representatives of the three levels of government met, as well as the hotel, restaurant, travel agency and tourism service providers, in an exercise of collaborative dialogue aimed at consolidating strategies that promote the orderly and sustained growth of the destination.
The Municipal Government reaffirmed its commitment to continue building a competitive, safe and nationally and internationally recognized Huatulco, through coordinated work and shared vision with all actors in the sector.
Aware that tourism represents well-being, employment and economic development for Huatulco families, concrete actions will continue to be promoted to position Huatulco as a pride of Oaxaca and all of Mexico.
