Huatulco Hosts the 2026 State Pickleball Selection Tournament
Huatulco will host the 2026 State Pickleball Selection Tournament from June 12-14. Champions will advance to the Mexico Cup and potentially the World Cup.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Council for Social Development, participated in the presentation of the 2026 State Pickleball Selection Tournament, an event organized by the Huatulco Pickleball Association, A.C.
This important qualifying tournament, considered the most relevant in the state of Oaxaca for this discipline, will bring together prominent players from June 12 to 14, 2026, at the Chahué Courts in Santa Cruz Huatulco.
Champions and finalists will receive a Golden Ticket to compete in the 2026 Mexico Cup, with the possibility of advancing to the Pickleball World Cup in Vietnam, positioning Huatulco as one of the most important sports destinations in the Mexican Pacific.
The Municipal Government reaffirms its commitment to continue working hand-in-hand with the Huatulco Pickleball Club to promote sporting events that strengthen healthy coexistence, promote sports tourism, and contribute to the social and economic development of our municipality.
