The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, officially launched the Coordinated Summer Vacation Operation 2026, with the presence of the State Secretary of Tourism, Mtra. Saymi Pineda Velasco, as well as the municipal presidents C. Israel Roel Ramirez Soriano, from Pluma Hidalgo; Dr. Miguel Olvera, from San Pedro Mixtepec; and Eng. Amado Rodríguez Jijón, from San Pedro Pochutla, who reaffirmed their commitment to work in a coordinated manner to provide security and assistance to those visiting the Oaxaca Coast during this holiday season.
With the participation of corporations from the three levels of government, this operation strengthens inter-institutional coordination to offer a timely and efficient response. The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting joint actions that consolidate Huatulco and the Oaxaca Coast as a safe, reliable, and prepared destination to receive tourism.
