Huatulco, Key Point in Pluma Coffee Trade
Huatulco's Social Development Councilor attended the "Pluma Coffee" discussion in the Senate, highlighting Huatulco's key role in coffee trade and producer support.
This Wednesday, April 15, representing the Municipal President of Santa María Huatulco, Eng. Julio Cárdenas, the Councilor for Social Development attended the “Pluma Coffee” designation of origin discussion, held in the Senate of the Republic, a dialogue space where the background, challenges, and opportunities surrounding this coffee, a source of pride for Oaxaca, were addressed, recognizing the work and effort of the producing families.
During this meeting, Huatulco's role as a strategic point in coffee trade was highlighted, consolidating itself as a key local market and distribution center to other states. Furthermore, the challenges facing the sector were discussed, reaffirming the Municipal Government's commitment to continue supporting producers.
