Lifeguards Save Life at Santa Cruz Beach

Huatulco lifeguards responded to an emergency at Santa Cruz beach, resuscitating an unconscious man with CPR. Their professionalism was recognized by Blue Flag.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters Huatulco and its lifeguard brigade, immediately responded to the call from bathers who reported an unconscious person in the sea.

The team applied CPR maneuvers, successfully resuscitating the approximately 45-year-old man, who was then transported with vital signs by the Mexican Red Cross to a clinic for medical evaluation.

The team's prompt response and coordination were recognized by Blue Flag certifiers, highlighting their professionalism and commitment to safety on our beaches.
