Fostering Peace in Huatulco Childhoods

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through Crime Prevention and Citizen Participation, carried out a toy exchange event, swapping war toys for educational toys, at La Crucecita Central Park, as part of the campaign “Weapons? Not Even as Toys!”.

This activity aimed to promote a culture of peace and non-violence from childhood, raising awareness among children and families about the importance of building safer and more harmonious environments.

Thanks to citizen participation, a great response and enthusiasm were achieved during this preventive and educational action.
