The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters, participated in training and advisory sessions provided by personnel from the State Coordination of Civil Protection and Risk Management, aimed at municipal authorities with the objective of strengthening prevention, preparation, and response actions for the 2026 rainy season and tropical cyclones.
During this session, topics related to the integration of civil protection programs, risk prevention and reduction actions, as well as preparation and response measures for the upcoming 2026 tropical cyclone and rainy season were addressed.
These actions strengthen inter-institutional coordination and response capabilities to safeguard the integrity and safety of the population.
