Strengthening Natural Risk Prevention in Huatulco
Huatulco's Municipal Government, through Civil Protection, attended the Naval Zone to strengthen tsunami emergency protocols and collaboration with the Navy.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters, attended the Naval Zone facilities, responding to an invitation to address topics related to emergency protocols for tsunamis.
This meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration with the Secretariat of the Navy, establishing and reinforcing joint actions such as the implementation of action protocols in vulnerable areas, the execution of drills, as well as promoting awareness and education campaigns in the coastal strip, ensuring timely and effective communication for the safety of the population.
