Strengthening Tourism Training Through Strategic Technological Alliances
Huatulco's Municipal Government, through its Tourism Directorate, forges strategic alliances for the professionalization of the tourism sector.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Tourism, continues to forge strategic links that promote innovation and professionalization in the tourism sector. As a result of efforts made in international forums such as the ANATO 2026 Fair in Colombia and the Tianguis Turístico México 2026 in Acapulco, a collaboration was solidified with the Mexican company ZAVIA ERP, specializing in technology for hotel management.
Thanks to this alliance, Zavia ERP delivered its technological platform to the Universidad del Mar, Tourism program; providing students with access to tools currently used by the hotel and tourism industry, thereby strengthening their academic and professional preparation.
This collaboration, supported by companies and associations in the tourism sector, contributes to the training of human talent skilled in digital transformation, innovation, and hotel management, strengthening Huatulco's competitiveness as a tourist destination.
