The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters Huatulco, participated in the 1st Extraordinary Assembly of Certified Surf Guides.
In this meeting, Huatulco marked a historic milestone by consolidating itself as the first professional and sustainable surf tourism model with full support from the three levels of government in Mexico.
With new certified partners, the Municipal Government reaffirms that surfing in Huatulco is not only a sport but also pride, community development, and international projection.
