The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Public Security Directorate, conducted an Intensive Training Course for elements of the Municipal Traffic Police, taught by personnel designated by the General Director of the State Traffic Police, Lic. Toribio López Sánchez.
This training aimed to provide legal, technical, and tactical knowledge related to the safety and protection of people, strengthening the necessary competencies for the professional performance of police elements based on current regulations. Participants receive updates on topics such as close-order drill techniques, the legal framework for first responders in land traffic incidents, inclusive road education, breathalyzer protocols, and professional ethics, contributing to providing better service to citizens and strengthening social proximity.
