The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Planning Directorate, carried out the workshop "Road Safety from the Municipality", taught by the specialist Francisco José de Anda Orellana.
This workshop, aimed at municipal authorities, addressed the Systemic Approach to Road Safety, harmonized with the General Law on Mobility and Road Safety, with the aim of implementing effective actions that reduce serious injuries and mortality from traffic accidents.
Around 41 people participated in this training, including representatives from the municipalities of San Pedro Pochutla, Santa María Tonameca, San Miguel del Puerto, San Pedro Mixtepec, San Mateo Piñas and Santo Domingo de Morelos, as well as the Peace Delegate of District 22 and the Regional Delegate of the State Road Police in Huatulco. There was also attendance from public service concessionaires and the general public.
With this type of action, Huatulco reaffirms its commitment to road safety and the well-being of its inhabitants.
