The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, promotes training in beach certifications for lifeguard personnel, as part of the commitment to maintain high standards of safety, prevention, and visitor attention.
During this training, knowledge about Blue Flag, Playa Platino certifications, and the NMX-AA-120-SCFI-2016 standard is reinforced, along with guidelines for signage, first aid, water rescue, protocols for natural risks, and coastal environment care.
The constant preparation of operational personnel is key to ensuring safe beaches, strengthening tourist confidence, and consolidating Huatulco as a destination with international class standards.
