The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, promotes training in beach certifications aimed at module operators, beach inspectors, and cleaning brigades, as part of its commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, prevention, and visitor service.
During this training, the criteria and scope of Blue Flag, Playa Platino certifications, and the NMX-AA-120-SCFI-2016 standard were reinforced, as well as topics such as safety, prevention, signage, sea conditions, visitor orientation, waste management, and coastal ecosystem protection.
These actions strengthen coordinated work among operational personnel, contribute to compliance with certified beach standards, and consolidate Huatulco as an organized, safe, and quality tourist destination.
