The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, promotes training in beach certifications for Municipal Police elements, as part of the commitment to maintain high standards of safety, order, and healthy coexistence in beach areas.
During this training, the criteria and scope of Blue Flag, Playa Platino certifications, and the NMX-AA-120-SCFI-2016 standard were reinforced, as well as preventive actions, application of regulations, identification of risky behaviors, and appropriate attention to users and visitors.
These actions strengthen the coordinated work between the Municipal Police and beach operational personnel, contribute to compliance with certified beach standards, and consolidate Huatulco as a safe, orderly, and quality tourist destination.
