Fostering a Culture of Prevention in Childhood

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters, provided a civil protection induction course to 5th-grade students from Adolfo López Mateos Primary School. During this activity, fundamental topics such as safety, prevention, first aid, and self-care were addressed, as well as the importance of acting responsibly at school, home, and on the streets.

As part of their learning, students learned to identify risks within their school environment and to map them, strengthening their awareness and prevention capacity from an early age.
