Puente Coyula and the municipal agency of Santa Cruz Huatulco are among the areas most affected by Hurricane Erick. However, the damage has spread across a large part of the municipal territory, complicating relief efforts.
Intense rains have caused landslides, overflows, and severe damage. Given this situation, the Municipal Government's Civil Protection brigades continue to work tirelessly in the most vulnerable areas, providing support to affected families and assessing damages to coordinate an effective response.
The Government of Santa María Huatulco thanks the public for their solidarity, patience, and understanding, and reiterates its commitment to reach every community in need.
