The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Sustainability, conducted an environmental education workshop aimed at children from the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Primary School, located in the Vicente Guerrero neighborhood of Santa María Huatulco.
During this activity, 2nd and 4th-grade students participated in dynamics and talks on the importance of water conservation, reef protection, and the impact of waste on ecosystems, including a visual representation of the effects of grease and oil spills on bird plumage. These actions promote environmental awareness from an early age, strengthening the commitment to caring for our environment.
