The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas Ortega, through the Directorate of Sustainability, carried out a first cleaning intervention at the mouth of the storm drain located in La Marina Chahué.
During this day, various inorganic waste was collected, including:
- Single-use plastics
- Domestic hoses
- Shade meshes
- Household items
This action arose in response to citizen reports and monitoring on social networks, reflecting the administration's commitment to environmental care. Citizens are urged to avoid throwing waste in the canals and to participate in the surveillance of these areas.
