Today, an informative meeting was held at the Municipal Palace of Santa María Huatulco, in coordination with the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples (INPI), as part of the Prior, Free, and Informed Consultation Process for the Proposed Initiative of the General Law on the Rights of Indigenous and Afro-Mexican Peoples.
Authorities from the communities of Arroyo Xuchitl, Cerro Chino, Copalita, El Porvenir, San Antonio Las Pozas, San Francisco Limoncito, San Isidro Hacienda Vieja, San José Cuajinicuil, San José Pueblo Viejo, and Todos Santos participated in this meeting, strengthening dialogue, participation, and joint work in favor of the rights of indigenous and Afro-Mexican peoples.
