The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through DIF Huatulco, the Municipal Institute for Women (IMMUJER), and the Unit for Crime Prevention and Citizen Participation, successfully carried out a campaign as part of Orange Day, in the municipal agency of Bajos de Coyula.
During the event, guidance services, psychological support, and informative activities focused on the prevention of violence against women and girls were offered.
Orange Day, promoted by the UN, is commemorated on the 25th of each month as a call for attention and action to eradicate gender-based violence. In Huatulco, we continue to reinforce this cause with concrete actions that promote a more just and safe society for everyone.
We thank the community of Bajos de Coyula for their participation and reaffirm our commitment to continue working to eradicate gender-based violence in our municipality.
