Within the framework of International Coastal Cleanup Day, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone (ZOFEMAT), in coordination with the Arrocito Cooperative and street vendors and service providers of Arrocito beach, carried out a cleanup day at Arrocito beach.
The results reflect citizen commitment:
- Disposables and wrappers: 3.15 kg
- Glass: 2.3 kg
- Clothing: 2.74 kg
- Paper: 1.5 kg
- Aluminum: 870 g
This action not only removes waste but also strengthens environmental culture and co-responsibility in the care of our ecosystems.
