Coordinated Actions for an Oaxaca Free of Violence Against Women

Huatulco joins Oaxaca's commitment to end gender violence. The Municipal Government reaffirms its dedication to safe environments for women and girls.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, participated in the signing of a commitment convened by the Government of the State of Oaxaca, to address the Declaration of Gender Violence Alert against Women in the state.

The event, held in the central courtyard of the Government Palace and led by Eng. Salomón Jara Cruz, governor of the state, brought together representatives from 40 municipalities with the aim of establishing a space for dialogue, collaboration, and commitment around compliance with the resolutions and the seven security measures prioritized to address this issue.

The Municipal Trustee and the Municipal Institute for Women of Huatulco attended this activity. With this participation, the Municipal Government reiterates its firm commitment to the prevention, care, and eradication of gender violence, as well as to the construction of safe, fair, and violence-free environments for women and girls of Huatulco.
