The vector control team from Health Jurisdiction 04 Costa carried out larval control and residual spraying actions in public buildings and educational institutions, as part of the First National Campaign against Dengue and Chikungunya 2026. These activities were conducted at Sor Juana Inés Primary School, Gabriela Mistral Kindergarten, CBTIS 231, José Vasconcelos General Secondary School, and CECATI 195, with the aim of preventing the proliferation of the transmitting mosquito.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, reaffirms its commitment to this national campaign, promoting coordinated actions to protect the health of the population. Citizens are invited to join by keeping their spaces clean and eliminating potential breeding grounds.
