The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Tourism Directorate, in coordination with the Civil Protection and Fire Department, imparted the First Aid and Aquatic Rescue Course for tourism service providers and the general public in San Agustín and Riscalillo Beach.
A total of 21 participants attended this training. It is worth mentioning that these trainings are essential to reinforce the safety of the tourist destination, providing service providers and the general population with the necessary knowledge and skills to act in emergency situations. They also form part of preventive measures prior to the Holy Week Vacation Season, optimizing better care and protection for locals and visitors.
We appreciate the kindness of the Restaurant El Paraíso of Lic. Nydia Ortega for giving the space for the courses. As well as the Representative of the Community of San Agustín, Mr. Cristóbal González, for providing support in the realization of the event.
In this way, eight days of training, taught on the beaches with the highest tourist influx of the destination, are successfully concluded. Together, let's continue building a safer Huatulco!
