Community Circular Market Successfully Held in Pueblo Viejo

The Community Circular Market in Pueblo Viejo successfully collected 300 kg of PET and aluminum cans, exchanged for basic products, boosting economy and environment.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Sustainability, successfully carried out another edition of the Community Circular Market, this time in the community of Pueblo Viejo.

Thanks to the active participation of residents, 300 kilograms of PET and aluminum cans were collected, which were exchanged for essential basic food basket products, generating a direct benefit for participating families.
With these actions:

  • We strengthen the circular economy and support family finances.
  • We reduce the carbon footprint by reincorporating materials into the productive cycle.
  • We protect the environment and our biodiversity, preventing soil and aquifer contamination.

We continue to promote initiatives that transform waste into well-being and foster a cleaner and more sustainable municipality.
