Safe Community: Building Violence-Free Communities

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco held an awareness day to prevent and eradicate violence against women and girls, offering services.

Within the framework of Orange Day, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Institute for Women and in coordination with Public Security, Punto Violeta, Municipal DIF, and the Office for the Defense of Children and Adolescents, carried out an awareness day to promote the prevention and eradication of violence against women and girls, bringing guidance, attention, and municipal and inter-institutional services to the population.
As part of this activity, children and adolescents participated in playful and recreational dynamics, fostering coexistence, learning, and a culture of prevention from an early age. These actions reaffirm the commitment of the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco to continue promoting safe spaces for everyone.
