In a joint effort to strengthen security in the coastal zone, a working meeting was held, organized by the Port Captaincy, in which shelter areas, evacuation routes, and emergency protocols were defined for the protection of vessels against possible contingencies.
The meeting was attended by the Regional Delegate of Civil Protection, as well as representatives of Civil Protection and Firefighters Huatulco, in an exercise of inter-institutional coordination that reaffirms the commitment to the protection of the population and the maritime sector.
The meeting was organized by the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Ing. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters Huatulco, as part of the preventive actions to guarantee a timely and efficient response in case of emergencies on the coast.
