Commitment of All at La Entrega Beach
A cleanup day at La Entrega Beach collected 24 kg of waste, ensuring safe spaces and protecting mangrove biodiversity with municipal and community support.
With the objective of removing solid waste accumulated on the sand strip, mangrove, and adjacent areas, as well as reducing health and environmental risks, a cleanup day was held at La Entrega Beach, ensuring safe and functional spaces for visitors, service providers, and the local community. During the activity, 24 kg of waste were collected (8 kg organic and 16 kg inorganic), contributing to the protection of biodiversity and the ecological balance of the mangrove.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, in coordination with ZOFEMAT and with the participation of restaurateurs, nautical service providers, street vendors, snorkelers, and taxi drivers from Sitio Vicente Guerrero, reaffirms its commitment to the conservation of our ecosystems and the permanent care of our beaches.
