In the sixth section of the H3 neighborhood, residents are taking action to restore their green spaces and strengthen care for the environment. As part of this effort, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through its Sustainability Department, donated 100 timber trees for reforestation in the neighborhood.
During the event, residents also shared their initiative to protect an environmentally valuable area with emblematic trees and native flora, with the long-term vision of establishing a Community Environmental Interpretation Center. Children also played an important role in the activity, learning about biodiversity, conservation, and ecosystem care. They also received tree adoption certificates in recognition of their participation.
Caring for nature also means building a future. We continue working with communities for a greener, more environmentally conscious Huatulco.
