Commitment to Our Beaches: Tangolunda Cleanup Day

A cleanup day was held at Tangolunda Beach, collecting 20 kg of waste to prevent environmental risks and protect the marine ecosystem.

With the aim of providing permanent follow-up to cleaning actions and preventing the accumulation of waste on the sandy strip, pier, and adjacent areas, a cleanup day was carried out at Tangolunda Beach.
During the activity, 20 kilograms of waste were collected (9 kg inorganic and 11 kg organic), contributing to preventing environmental and health risks, preventing waste from reaching the sea, and protecting the marine ecosystem and coastal biodiversity.
These actions, carried out by the ZOFEMAT Directorate, strengthen the urban image of the destination and contribute to maintaining clean, safe, and functional spaces for the development of recreational and tourist activities.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, reaffirms its permanent commitment to the care of our beaches and the creation of safe and sustainable environments for everyone.
