With the aim of keeping beaches free of waste and protecting coastal ecosystems, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, carried out a cleanup day at Arrocito Beach, in coordination with ZOFEMAT, service providers, street vendors, the local cooperative, and the taxi stand.
During this activity, 23 kg of waste were collected (13 kg inorganic and 10 kg organic), contributing to reducing the presence of pollutants, preventing harm to marine fauna, and strengthening environmental care.
