The ZOFEMAT Directorate, in coordination with nautical service providers, street vendors, snorkelers, and oyster farmers, carried out a cleaning day at Maguey Beach with the aim of strengthening permanent sanitation, conservation, and coastal environment care actions.
During the activity, 108 kilograms of waste were collected, of which 20 kg were organic and 88 kg inorganic, contributing to maintaining clean, orderly spaces in better conditions for visitors, service providers, and the conservation of the marine ecosystem.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through ZOFEMAT, continues to promote coordinated actions to preserve the cleanliness of our beaches and strengthen the culture of environmental care.
