The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, carried out a cleaning day at Maguey Beach, with the aim of promoting environmental care, proper waste management, and the conservation of this important natural space.
During the activity, ZOFEMAT personnel, waiters, service providers, taxi drivers, and snorkelers from the beach participated, achieving the collection of 17.400 kilograms of waste, contributing to the protection of the coastal ecosystem and the promotion of responsible tourism.
