The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through elements of Civil Protection and Firefighters of Huatulco, promptly responded to the report of a ticuate snake (Drymarchon corais) found inside a home in the community of La Bocana.
After its safe capture, the specimen was handed over to Wildlife personnel for its safekeeping and handling according to the corresponding protocols.
These actions reaffirm the commitment to ensure the safety of citizens and the protection of local biodiversity.
