As part of the permanent prevention and citizen assistance actions, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through the Civil Protection area, conducted a verification tour for possible damages caused by the rains.
During this work, support was provided to a home in Vainilla, Barrio Nuevo, by placing sandbag barricades to prevent water runoff from entering the dwelling, thus protecting the family and their property.
The Municipal Government reiterates its commitment to act promptly to safeguard the safety of the population during this rainy season.
