Civil Protection and Firefighters Maintain Permanent Attention During Rains in Our Municipality

Civil Protection and Firefighters aided a family, set up a temporary shelter, assisted the Army, and addressed a roof collapse due to rain.

As part of the response actions to the rains registered in the municipality, personnel from the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters provided support to a family in the Fishing Corridor, where a branch was at risk of falling on a house after an improper cut, carrying out the necessary work to prevent further damage.

Likewise, a temporary shelter was set up in the Bajos del Arenal Agency, thanks to the support of the Municipal Agent, who facilitated the facilities, and the Municipal DIF System, which provided the necessary supplies for its operation. Similarly, support was provided to Mexican Army personnel due to a tire failure on their unit during the rains, and the collapse of a roof structure in the community of La Erradura was attended to, caused by the accumulation of trash, collaborating in the removal of the damaged material.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, reaffirms its commitment to maintain preventive actions and timely attention to safeguard the integrity and well-being of Huatulco families.
