The Literary Caravan 2025 kicked off at the Nuevos Horizontes Elementary School with a screening of the Oscar-nominated film "Song of the Sea." This initiative is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Government, led by Ing. Julio Cárdenas, via the Department of Social Development, the Director of Education, and the Alfredo Harp Helú Oaxaca Foundation. It aims to bring reading and knowledge closer to different communities.
During this event, 13 reading promoters will conduct educational and recreational activities in five locations within our municipality, offering read-aloud sessions, creative workshops, film screenings, book loans, and even stargazing through mobile library units.
