Training to Strengthen Safety on Huatulco Beaches

Huatulco lifeguards trained on Blue Flag and Playa Platino certifications, enhancing knowledge for better service and maintaining safe, quality beaches.

Lifeguard personnel from the certified beaches of Santa María Huatulco participated in a training and update session on the criteria for Blue Flag, Playa Platino, and Mexican Standard NMX-AA-120-SCFI-2016: Sustainable Clean Beach certifications, strengthening their knowledge to provide better service to visitors and residents.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, continues to promote the professionalization of lifeguard personnel to maintain safer, quality beaches with the international standards that distinguish Huatulco as a tourist destination of excellence.
