The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, provided training to elements of the Municipal Police of Santa María Huatulco, with the objective of strengthening their knowledge in terms of regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to beach certification.
This action seeks to promote collaborative work among municipal departments, in order to optimize the certification processes of the Tourist Destination and guarantee safe, clean, and sustainable beaches.
The active participation of Public Security is fundamental for compliance with regulations, the management of visitors, and the protection of the coastal environment, benefiting the community and responsible tourism.
