"Streets that Unite Us" Transforms Public Space in Huatulco

Huatulco's "Streets that Unite Us" project enhances urban spaces, improving road safety, accessibility, and community engagement on Benito Juárez street.

As part of the "Streets that Unite Us" project, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Planning Directorate, continues with tactical urbanism interventions in the municipal seat, with the aim of improving road safety, accessibility, and the perception of the urban environment.

The intervened section corresponds to Benito Juárez street, between Díaz Ordaz and Guerrero, where pedestrian mobility is prioritized, and the social fabric is strengthened through a transformation of public space.

This project stands out for its participatory nature, involving the community in the design and appropriation of safer, more inclusive, and friendly streets for everyone.
