In response to the damage caused by Hurricane Erick in various localities of Santa María Huatulco, the Municipal Government, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, continues to implement concrete actions to assist the families most in need.
On this occasion, desilting and cleaning work was carried out on the main access roads to the communities of Cerro Chino, the agency of Xúchitl, and Xúchitl Alto. These actions improved traffic conditions, facilitated the entry of aid, and prevented risks arising from the accumulation of mud and debris.
The work was performed by one of the 19 brigades formed by Municipal Government personnel, who have been active since the first hours after the natural phenomenon's impact, attending to various points throughout the municipal territory.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco thanks the population for their understanding and solidarity in this situation, and recognizes the commitment and effort of the operational team who, with dedication, continues to visit communities to provide support and restore well-being conditions.
